Job summary

Ally Financial in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Fraud Data Product Management for the Fraud Data Plane. You will shape the strategy, drive the roadmap, and deliver end-to-end platform capabilities that enable real-time fraud detection and investigation.

This role requires coordinating across Fraud, Product, Data, Technology, Analytics, Risk, and Compliance teams, translating business needs into concrete requirements, and guiding delivery from discovery through production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in business, finance, information systems, data, analytics, technology or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in product management, product ownership, program delivery, data products, or related fields.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives from strategy to production support.
• Strong understanding of modern product-management practices, Agile, backlog management, prioritization, and value measurement.
• Knowledge of real-time streaming, batch integration, data modeling, APIs, lineage, data quality, and cloud services.
• Experience partnering with engineering/architecture teams; translate business needs without being the solution architect.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Help shape and execute the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and backlog for a modern fraud data platform.
• Translate fraud business needs into product requirements, data needs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and implementation plans.
• Lead intake, discovery, and prioritization across new capabilities, initiatives, and platform enhancements.
• Partner with Fraud, Product, Data, Technology, Architecture, Analytics, Risk, Compliance, Operations to deliver from concept to launch.
• Advance reusable fraud data, real-time and batch integration, data quality, lineage, and governed access.
• Manage cross-functional dependencies, risks, testing, release readiness, and adoption with a path to the target platform.
• Establish success measures and use data to show improvements in fraud risk, decision accuracy, customer experience, and efficiency.
• Communicate strategy, progress, risks, and decisions clearly to senior leaders and delivery teams in a matrixed environment.
