Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Store Leader at MSP-MINNEAPOLIS/THE QUARRY to guide a framing team and deliver high-quality custom framing solutions for customers.

You will coach staff, manage workloads with the Store Manager, and ensure adherence to SOPs, safety, and store standards. Ideal candidates bring prior retail management experience and a track record of leading a sales team, with a focus on customer relationships and achieving framing-related KPIs.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required for daily store operations.
• Retail management experience preferred to lead a framing team.
• Experience leading a sales team is a plus to drive performance.
• Strong customer service and supervisory capabilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the framers team to build customer relationships and deliver framing solutions on time.
• Develop and coach the team selling behaviors to meet KPI targets.
• Plan workload in partnership with the Store Manager to ensure high-quality framing delivery.
• Oversee inventory management, shrink control, and safety programs in the store.
• Serve as Manager on Duty and participate in interviewing, onboarding and training of staff.
