Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Store Leader to guide a framing team in delivering high-quality, customer-focused custom framing solutions.

You will drive sales, coach team members, and collaborate with the Store Manager to ensure efficient operations and adherence to SOPs. You will oversee daily duties, manage inventory and safety programs, and participate in recruiting, onboarding, and ongoing development of team members.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Previous custom framing experience preferred.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Experience leading a sales team preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a framing team to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in creating framing solutions.
• Manage store operations in partnership with the Store Manager and ensure SOP compliance.
• Plan workload and staffing to meet KPI targets and deliver on-time framing solutions.
• Oversee inventory, shrink control and safety programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) and participate in interviewing and training of new team members.
