Job summary

Osmo, headquartered in Elizabeth, NJ, is seeking a Compounder for our sample lab. You will measure, weigh, and mix raw materials and essential oils, verify materials against specs, and operate production equipment.

Collaboration with QC and production teams is essential to maintain quality and efficiency. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in fragrance or flavor compounding, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to follow formulas precisely.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years hands-on sample lab compounding in fragrance or flavor manufacturing.
• Extreme attention to detail and accuracy in measuring, weighing and blending materials.
• Ability to follow written formulas and instructions precisely.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Able to lift 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Fragrance compounding: accurately measure, weigh, and mix materials per formulas and batch sheets.
• Verify materials and formulas against specifications and batch sheets; flag discrepancies.
• Operate and clean mixing tanks, scales, pumps and production equipment per SOPs.
• Follow safety protocols including hazardous material handling and PPE.
• Monitor raw material stock levels using Osmo's inventory system; report shortages to supervisors.
• Collaborate with quality control and production teams to ensure consistency and efficiency.
