Job summary

Osmo is seeking a Compounder for our sample lab in New York to measure, weigh, and mix raw materials and essential oils per formulas and batch sheets. You will ensure precision, maintain equipment, and follow safety protocols to support high‑quality fragrance samples.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of hands‑on compounding experience in fragrance or flavor manufacturing, with strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written formulas accurately.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of hands-on sample lab compounding experience in fragrance or flavor manufacturing.
• Ability to follow written formulas and batch sheets with precision.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Fragrance compounding — accurately measure, weigh, and mix according to formulas and batch sheets.
• Verify materials and formulas against specifications and flag discrepancies.
• Operate and maintain mixing tanks and other production equipment per SOPs.
• Adhere to safety protocols and PPE requirements.
• Assist inventory control and notify supervisors of shortages.
• Collaborate with quality control and production teams for consistency.
