Job summary

Osmo is seeking a Compounder in its Newark/Elizabeth, NJ area to precisely measure, weigh, and mix raw materials and essential oils according to formulas and batch sheets in the sample lab. This is a craft role emphasizing material understanding and sensory judgment beyond simple steps.

You will verify materials against specs, operate and maintain production equipment, and ensure safety and compliance. The role requires 2–5 years of hands-on experience in fragrance or flavor labs and strong

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of hands-on sample lab compounding experience in fragrance or flavor manufacturing.
• Extreme attention to detail and accuracy in measuring and blending materials.
• Able to follow written formulas and precise instructions.

Responsibilities

• Fragrance compounding—measure, weigh, and mix materials per formulas.
• Verify materials and formulas against specifications and batch sheets.
• Operate and maintain mixing tanks, scales, and production equipment.
• Follow safety protocols including hazardous material handling and PPE.
• Monitor raw material stock levels and notify supervisors of shortages.
• Collaborate with quality control and production teams for consistency.
