Job summary

Osmo, headquartered in Elizabeth, NJ, is seeking a Compounder for its fragrance sample lab. You will measure, weigh, and blend raw materials and essential oils per batch sheets, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

The role requires 2–5 years of hands-on experience and sharp attention to detail in a fast-paced production environment. With opportunities to work closely with quality control and production teams, you’ll help maintain consistency while handling inventory and equipment, including safety

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of hands-on sample lab compounding experience within fragrance or flavor manufacturing.
• Extreme attention to detail and accuracy measuring, weighing, and blending raw materials.
• Able to follow written formulas and instructions precisely.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Able to lift 25 lbs

Responsibilities

• Fragrance Compounding — Accurately measure, weigh, and mix raw materials and essential oils according to formulas and batch sheets
• Verify Materials & Formulas — Check materials against specifications and batch sheets before use, and flag discrepancies before they become a downstream problem
• Equipment Operation & Maintenance — Operate and clean mixing tanks, scales, pumps, and other production equipment while following SOPs
• Safety & Compliance — Follow all company safety protocols, including hazardous material handling and PPE
• Inventory Management — Assist in monitoring raw material stock levels using Osmo's inventory system, and notify supervisors of shortages
• Collaboration — Work closely with quality control and production teams to ensure consistency and efficiency
