Job summary

Osmo is seeking a Compounder to accurately measure, weigh, and mix raw materials and essential oils according to formulas and batch sheets in our sample lab. This role emphasizes precision, material knowledge, and sensory judgment to distinguish skilled compounding from routine steps.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in fragrance or flavor sample labs, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to follow written formulas exactly while working in a fast-paced production setting.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of hands-on sample lab compounding experience within fragrance or flavor manufacturing.
• Extreme attention to detail and accuracy measuring, weighing, and blending raw materials.
• Able to follow written formulas and instructions precisely.

Responsibilities

• Fragrance Compounding — Accurately measure, weigh, and mix raw materials and essential oils according to formulas and batch sheets
• Verify Materials & Formulas — Check materials against specifications and batch sheets before use, and flag discrepancies before they become a downstream problem
• Equipment Operation & Maintenance — Operate and clean mixing tanks, scales, pumps, and other production equipment while following SOPs
• Safety & Compliance — Follow all company safety protocols, including hazardous material handling and PPE
• Inventory Management — Assist in monitoring raw material stock levels using Osmo's inventory system, and notify supervisors of shortages
• Collaboration — Work closely with quality control and production teams to ensure consistency and efficiency
