Job summary

Osmo is seeking a Compounder for its fragrance sample lab in New Jersey. You will measure, weigh, and mix raw materials and essential oils following exact formulas and batch sheets, ensuring precision and material integrity.

Ideal candidates have 2-5 years of hands-on compounding experience, extreme attention to detail, and the ability to work with inventory systems while collaborating with quality control and production teams. Eligible for shuttle benefits and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of hands-on sample lab compounding experience within fragrance or flavor manufacturing.
• Extreme attention to detail and accuracy measuring, weighing, and blending raw materials.
• Able to follow written formulas and instructions precisely.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Able to lift 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Fragrance compounding — accurately measure, weigh, and mix raw materials and essential oils.
• Verify materials and formulas — check specs and batch sheets, flag discrepancies.
• Operate and maintain mixing tanks, scales, pumps, and other equipment per SOPs.
• Follow safety protocols, including handling hazardous materials and PPE.
• Monitor raw material stock levels using the inventory system and report shortages.
• Collaborate with quality control and production teams for consistency and efficiency.
