Osmo is seeking a Compounder for our lab in Elizabeth, NJ. You will accurately measure, weigh, and mix raw materials and essential oils following formulas and batch sheets, bringing precision and sensory judgment to every batch.

You will verify materials and formulas against specifications, operate production equipment, uphold safety and PPE standards, and help manage inventory while collaborating with quality control and production teams to ensure consistency.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of hands-on sample lab compounding in fragrance or flavor manufacturing.
• Extreme attention to detail when measuring, weighing, and blending materials.
• Ability to follow written formulas and instructions precisely.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced production setting and lifting up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Fragrance compounding — measure, weigh, and mix raw materials and essential oils according to formulas and batch sheets.
• Verify materials and formulas against specifications before use and flag discrepancies.
• Operate and maintain mixing tanks, scales, pumps and other production equipment per SOPs.
• Follow safety protocols, including hazardous material handling and PPE usage.
• Monitor raw material stock levels and notify supervisors of shortages.
• Collaborate with quality control and production teams to ensure consistency and efficiency.
