Job summary

Osmo is seeking a Compounder for its fragrance lab. You will measure, weigh, and blend raw materials and essential oils with precision according to formulas and batch sheets, ensuring accuracy and purity.

You’ll verify materials against specs, operate and maintain equipment, and rigorously follow safety protocols in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in fragrance or flavor compounding, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of hands-on sample lab compounding experience within fragrance or flavor manufacturing.
• Extreme attention to detail and accuracy measuring, weighing, and blending raw materials.
• Able to follow written formulas and instructions precisely.

Responsibilities

• Fragrance compounding — accurately measure, weigh, and mix raw materials and essential oils according to formulas and batch sheets
• Verify materials & formulas — check materials against specifications and batch sheets before use, and flag discrepancies before they become a downstream problem
• Equipment operation & maintenance — operate and clean mixing tanks, scales, pumps, and other production equipment while following SOPs
• Safety & compliance — follow all company safety protocols, including hazardous material handling and PPE
• Inventory management — assist in monitoring raw material stock levels using Osmo's inventory system, and notify supervisors of shortages
• Collaboration — work closely with quality control and production teams to ensure consistency and efficiency
