Job summary

Osmo seeks a Fragrance Compounder to join our team in New York. You will accurately weigh, measure, and blend raw materials to produce fragrance formulations, ensuring safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in fragrance or flavor compounding, strong mathematical skills, and a trained nose with olfactive knowledge. You will work in a fast-paced production environment with emphasis on precision and SOP adherence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in fragrance or flavor compounding
• Extreme attention to detail when measuring, weighing, and blending raw materials
• Basic knowledge of lab equipment and safety protocols
• Trained or highly sensitive nose with familiarity of olfactive families and fragrance structures
• Proven ability in sensory evaluation and maintaining high olfactory accuracy
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a production setting

Responsibilities

• Fragrance compounding: measure, weigh, and mix raw materials per formulas and batch sheets
• Quality control: identify material discrepancies and report abnormalities
• Operate and maintain mixing tanks, scales, pumps, and related equipment per SOPs
• Adhere to safety protocols, PPE requirements, and hazardous materials handling
• Monitor raw material stock and notify supervisors of shortages or issues
