The role emphasizes precise measurement, material characterization, and timely reporting of any discrepancies. A strong olfactory sense and experience in perfumery are highly valued in this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in fragrance or flavor compounding.
• Extreme attention to detail and accuracy when measuring, weighing, and blending raw materials.
• Basic knowledge of lab equipment.
• A trained or highly sensitive nose with familiarity of olfactive families and fragrance structures.
• Demonstrated proficiency in sensory evaluation and a developed olfactory sense.

Responsibilities

• Fragrance Compounding: accurately measure, weigh, and mix raw materials and essential oils per formulas.
• Quality Control: report discrepancies in raw materials.
• Equipment Operation & Maintenance: operate and clean production equipment per SOPs.
• Safety & Compliance: follow safety protocols and wear PPE.
• Inventory Management: monitor raw material stock levels and report shortages.
