Job summary

JETSET Pilates is seeking a Founding General Manager to bring a new studio to life in Midlothian, VA. You will recruit and develop the founding team, drive pre-launch momentum, and partner with ownership to establish operational excellence.

After opening, you will lead day-to-day operations, grow memberships, and maintain exceptional client experiences. Expect travel for regional training and a hands-on role in pre-opening activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of operations or general management experience in boutique fitness, hospitality, or luxury membership settings.
• Proven track record building and leading high-performing teams across locations or pre-opening contexts.
• Entrepreneurial self-starter who takes initiative and thrives when playbooks are being written.
• Strong sales instinct with experience driving revenue targets and coaching others to do the same.
• Highly analytical with data-driven decision-making and solid organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and development of founding Instructor and Studio Lead teams prior to opening.
• Build schedules, staffing plans, and studio workflows; establish launch-day readiness.
• Drive founding membership sales, pre-sale campaigns, and consultative sales coaching.
• Partner with ownership to monitor launch readiness, business performance, and system improvements.
• Support future studio openings and multi-unit growth as the brand expands.
