Job summary

Mintive is seeking a Sales Engineer in the San Francisco Bay Area to drive the technical sale from demo to signature. You will collaborate with AEs on every deal, map customer identity and risk posture, and design POCs with measurable success criteria.

This is an in-person role with opportunities to shape playbooks, collateral, and value frameworks for future SEs. You should bring 4+ years in technical sales, a track record of selling complex infrastructure/security products, and hands-on

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in sales engineering, solutions engineering, presales engineering, or equivalent.
Experience selling complex technical products (infrastructure, security, dev tools) not consumer apps.
Hands-on technical ability to build integrations, debug deployments, and run a POC.
Ability to build business cases with ROI, TCO, IRR, and payment justification for executives.

Responsibilities

Own the technical sale end-to-end with AEs on every deal.
Lead technical discovery with security, platform, and engineering teams; map customer systems and risk posture.
Run demos and design POCs with clear success criteria and hands-on delivery.
Create collateral, ROI models, and templates; coach AEs on value selling.
