Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a Fluids Analysis Manager to lead a experts team delivering fluids and propulsion analyses for the MK1 Lunar Lander program. You will guide vehicle design, validation, and tools development across pre-launch, in-space, and landing phases.

You will hire, coach, and manage engineers, shaping technical processes and ensuring analysis fidelity. The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and mission-focused problem solving within a safety-conscious culture.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Chemical, or Physics preferred).
• 5+ years aerospace industry or related field experience, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team of engineers in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience performing 1D modeling and/or CFD of compressible and incompressible flow using hand calculations or fluid network analysis tools (e.g. Thermal Desktop, Fluent, GFSSP, FloCAD, or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and day-to-day direction for a fluids analysis team.
• Guide analysis of vehicles, hardware design, and operations across fluids and propulsion.
• Hire, coach, mentor, and develop engineering talent within the team.
• Improve technical processes, requirements and tool development for propulsion analyses.
• Define, scope, and schedule analyses to support program execution and validate models.
