Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Manager of a multi-discipline fluids design team to set technical directions and develop team members to support current and future MK1 Lunar Lander programs. You will manage hiring, performance, training, and tools for career growth while driving process improvement and ensuring hardware delivery.

Responsibilities include leading design, manufacturing, test support, data reviews, and anomaly investigations to drive corrective actions and improvements.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering required (Aerospace/Mechanical preferred).
• 5+ years of aerospace industry or related field experience.
• Ability to lead a team of engineers in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong fundamentals in mechanical design, manufacturing, supply chain, and materials processing.
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) tools and Design for Manufacturability (DFM).

Responsibilities

• Lead component design, manufacturing, and test support across the life cycle.
• Provide day-to-day direction and coaching to the fluids design team.
• Perform data reviews and test readiness reviews; support investigations and corrective actions.
• Drive process improvement and development activities for fast delivery of hardware.
• Support in-house and supplier activities within MK1 Lunar Lander programs.
