Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Manager of a multi-discipline fluids design team in the Lunar Permanence unit. You will set directions, develop team members, and support in-house and supplier activities for fluids components of the MK1 Lunar Lander.

You’ll lead design, manufacturing, and test support, perform data reviews, and participate in root-cause analyses to drive hardware improvements. Strong leadership and passion for space are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree in aerospace, mechanical, chemical or physics.
• 5+ years in aerospace or related field with leadership experience.
• Strong fundamentals in mechanical design, manufacturing, supply chain, and materials processing.
• Experience with GD&T and CAD tools; DFm experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-discipline fluids design team across product life cycle.
• Provide day-to-day direction and career development for engineers.
• Support design, manufacturing, testing, and supplier activities for fluids components.
• Lead corrective actions, root-cause analyses, and continuous improvement.
