Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Fluids Analysis Manager to lead a team of analysts ensuring robust thermal-fluid analyses for our lunar propulsion programs. You will guide design and operations, validate models with literature and test data, and mature internal tools for predicting fluids behavior across pre-launch, in-space, and landing.

You will manage hiring, coaching, and career development, while ensuring analysis fidelity and timely delivery to the MK1 Lunar Lander program, with a focus on safety

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Chemical, or Physics preferred).
• 5+ years aerospace or related field experience; leadership experience.
• Proven ability to lead engineers in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated mentoring and talent development.
• Deep fundamentals in propulsion, fluids, thermodynamics, heat transfer and/or combustion.
• Experience modeling fluids and propulsion components (valves, manifolds, pumps, engines, thrusters, etc.).
• Experience 1D/CFD of compressible/incompressible flow using hand calculations or tools (Thermal Desktop, Fluent, GFSSP, FloCAD, or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of analysts providing technical guidance for vehicle analysis, hardware design, and operations.
• Oversee hiring, performance management, training, and career development for the team.
• Define scope and schedule required analyses to support program execution.
• Ensure analysis fidelity across development phases and perform thermal-fluid calculations using various methods.
