Blue Origin, based in the Merritt Island area, seeks a Fluids Systems Engineer to contribute to the MK1 Fluids Systems Engineering team. You will apply rigorous systems engineering to propulsion and fluids subsystems, driving integration with vehicle design, software, and operations, and supporting verification tests and trade studies.

The role emphasizes cross-disciplinary collaboration within a fast-paced aerospace environment, with emphasis on safety, documentation, and architecture clarity.

Qualifications

• BS in Aerospace, Mechanical, Physics, or Systems Engineering required.
• 3+ years of fluids, propulsion, or aerospace systems experience.
• Experience with fluid/gas components (valves, manifolds, pumps, instrumentation).
• Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Work at significant technical depth on complex subsystems as part of the Fluids and Propulsion IPT.
• Own subsystem documentation and analyses with verification data.
• Ensure timely updates of architecture diagrams and schematics.
• Apply systems engineering across the development cycle: concept, requirements, design, validation, test.
• Integrate fluids and propulsion with overall vehicle design, software, and operations.
• Support tests for components and subsystems.
• Lead trade studies and design integration within fluids systems.
