Job summary

Blue Origin's Lunar Permanence team seeks a Manager of multi discipline fluids design to guide technical direction and develop engineers for current and future programs. You will oversee design, manufacturing, testing of fluid and propulsion components for the MK1 Lunar Lander, and coordinate across internal and supplier teams.

You will hire, mentor, and manage performance while driving process improvements, data reviews, and root-cause analyses.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Chemical, or Physics preferred).
• 5+ years of aerospace industry or related field experience, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team of engineers in a fast-paced environment, producing and delivering hardware to meet customer needs; provides strategic thinking and fosters an environment of continuous improvement to support delivery rate, material cost, and nonconformance goals.

Responsibilities

• Set technical and product support directions for fluids components across MK1 Lunar Lander programs.
• Provide hiring, performance management, training, and career development for team members.
• Lead design, manufacturing, test support, and supplier activities for fluids systems; drive corrective actions and hardware improvements.
