Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Manager of a multi-discipline fluids design team to drive technical direction for fluids components on the MK1 Lunar Lander. You will lead and mentor engineers, influence design for manufacturability, and ensure delivery on time and within cost targets.

You will partner with propulsion, structures, and manufacturing teams to solve complex engineering challenges, while advancing talent development and process improvements across the program.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Chemical, or Physics preferred).
• 5+ years of aerospace or related field experience.
• Ability to lead a team of engineers delivering hardware to meet customer needs.
• Coaching and mentoring to grow engineering talent.
• Strong fundamentals in mechanical design, manufacturing, supply chain, and materials processing.
• Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Experience with CAD tools.
• Experience leading Design for Manufacturability (DFM).
• Understanding production processes and corrective actions.
• Proven ability to build trust and cross-discipline partnerships.
• Travel up to 15%.
• Eligibility: US citizen or eligible status per export controls.
