Job summary

RitterTech, part of Motion and Control Enterprises, seeks an Outside Sales Representative in Bolingbrook, IL to grow a fluid power book of business. You will cover hydraulics, pneumatics, hose, fittings, and Parker Hannifin solutions, developing new accounts and expanding existing relationships as a trusted technical resource.

You will prepare quotes, deliver presentations, and work with engineering to meet customer specs while managing the territory and closing deals.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of sales experience in fluid power, industrial distribution, or a related technical field.
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, hose, fittings, or related fluid power products.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with customer presentations and relationship building.
• Ability to work independently, manage a territory, and collaborate within a team.

Responsibilities

• Grow your customer base and establish relationships with existing and prospective industrial customers.
• Identify new opportunities, follow up on leads, and develop plans to expand revenue.
• Sell a broad range of fluid power products and provide strategic product recommendations.
• Prepare quotations and proposals; deliver presentations on features and benefits.
• Work with OEMs, engineering, and technical staff to clarify needs and develop specs.
• Manage accounts, negotiate terms, and close transactions; log activities in CRM daily.
