Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking an outside seller to take the next level by building a territory and growing earnings through repeat relationships with existing accounts and opening new business. You will use a consultative selling approach when engaging engineers and purchasers to learn applications and match solutions.

You will collaborate with an experienced inside sales team and manufacturer reps to quote, propose, and close deals, while coordinating with support staff to ensure

Formación

• 6 months+ knowledge of fluid power components, systems, & applications.
• Basic computer skills.
• Hands-on product demonstrations for customers and prospects; mechanical aptitude.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Develop a territory and grow earnings by building repeat relationships in existing accounts and opening new business.
• Use consultative selling with engineers, purchasing, and others to learn about applications and needs.
• Achieve sales and profit goals by developing existing customers, opening new business, and customer retention.
• Prepare quotes and proposals, follow up and negotiate terms, and close transactions.
• Organize and conduct training sessions for customers and survey market conditions.
• Complete reports regarding itineraries, expenses, sales calls, leads, and other related reports.
• Monitor customer complaints and coordinate deliveries as required.
