Job summary

Jetro Restaurant Depot is seeking a Floor Manager in Flemington, NJ to oversee receiving, stocking, pricing, customer service and inventory control. You will lead the floor team, coordinate merchandising and maintain HACCP compliance to ensure safe, orderly operations.

The role requires strong people management, scheduling and communication skills, with a focus on delivering excellent service to large customers and maintaining accurate records and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in customer service.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business materials.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with large customers.
• Supervise Floor staff to keep shelves stocked, labeled and rotated.
• Develop schedules, monitor performance and apply appropriate discipline.
• Train employees in responsibilities and safe operating procedures.
• Interview candidates and recommend hires.
• Ensure HACCP compliance and conduct audits.
• Monitor inventory rotation to prevent shrinkage and excess stock.
• Maintain accurate pricing aligned with market conditions.
• Oversee product receiving and complete paperwork.
• Coordinate merchandising and pricing signage to optimize sales.
• Perform weekly self-audits of the perishable department.
• Work varied schedules including early openings or late closings.
