Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ years in customer service is acceptable.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret business periodicals and procedures.
• Effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Computer literacy required to manage inventories and records.

Responsibilities

• Develops schedules and supervises floor staff, ensuring coverage.
• Trains employees in job responsibilities and safe operating procedures.
• Interviews candidates and recommends hires.
• Ensures HACCP compliance and conducts periodic audits.
• Reviews daily inventory for rotation and shrinkage control.
• Maintains accurate inventory levels and file paperwork.
• Coaches merchandising and proper pricing on the floor.
• Performs weekly self audits of the perishable department.
• Works varying schedules, including shifts before opening or after closing.
