Job summary

Jetro Restaurant Depot is seeking a Floor Manager to lead the Floor department, ensure top-tier customer service, and supervise stockers and floor staff. You will coordinate schedules, maintain HACCP compliance, and oversee receiving and inventory control.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills, with a focus on shrink prevention and accurate pricing. Expect varied shift hours to support store operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, OR
• High School Diploma or GED with at least 4 years experience in customer service, OR
• Any appropriate combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures.
• Ability to present information clearly to managers, clients, and general public
• Ability to calculate figures, and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, mass and volume.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situation and documentation.
• Commitment to company values and strong customer orientation.
• Computer literacy

Responsibilities

• Develops schedules, monitors performance and recommends discipline as appropriate.
• Trains employees in job responsibilities and safe operating procedures
• Interviews candidates and makes hiring recommendations.
• Ensures HACCP inspections and audits are performed.
• Reviews inventory daily to prevent shrinkage and ensure rotation.
• Coordinates merchandising and proper shelving, labeling, and pricing.
• Oversees ordering and vendor relationships for competitive pricing.
• Ensures safe operation and proper paperwork for receiving products.
• Maintains floor stock cleanliness and compliance with policies.
• Works various schedules, may start before opening or end after close.
