Job summary

Jetro Restaurant Depot is seeking a Floor Manager to oversee the Floor department, ensure shelves are stocked and labeled, and provide excellent customer service. You will supervise Floor staff, assist with schedules, training, and disciplinary actions, and ensure compliance with HACCP and inventory controls.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and execution of merchandising plans, with the ability to handle varied shifts and maintain safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, or a High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years in customer service.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret business materials and procedures.
• Ability to present information clearly to managers, clients and the public.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, mass and volume.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; capable of handling confidential information.
• High interpersonal skills and customer orientation; computer literacy is required.

Responsibilities

• Develops schedules and supervises Floor staff.
• Ensures shelves are stocked, labeled, rotated and clean; coordinates merchandising.
• Trains employees in responsibilities and safety procedures; conducts audits as needed.
• Interviews candidates and assists with hires; maintains HACCP-related inspections and audits.
• Monitors product inventory, pricing accuracy and paperwork for deliveries and returns.
• Maintains accurate inventory records and coordinates ordering to balance pricing and shrinkage.
• Communicates low stock information to Inventory Controller; oversees weekly perishable audits.
• Performs other duties as assigned and works varying shifts including before opening or after closing.
