Job summary

One Medical is seeking a Float Phlebotomist/Admin Assistant in CT to deliver venipuncture and clinical support while ensuring a welcoming patient experience. You will serve as the first point of contact, manage front desk tasks, and assist with lab duties, documentation, and patient communication.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, teamwork, and proficiency with our technology stack to support providers and the patient journey in a fast-paced office setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist outside of training externship
• Strong customer-service skills and ability to establish and maintain effective customer relationships
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with multiple software systems and online tools
• Experience collaborating with diverse, multi-disciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Provide venipuncture and basic laboratory services.
• Manage front desk tasks including check-in/check-out and insurance verification.
• Maintain high standards of in-office care and facility cleanliness.
• Answer patient messages and assist providers with clerical duties.
• Master the technology suite (Slack, G-suite, Zoom, EMR) to complete daily work
