Job summary

One MedicalFloat Phlebotomist/Administrative Assistant (Flex Patient Care Specialist) in Fairfax, VA provides venipuncture and clinical support while delivering an exceptional patient experience. You are the first contact and help manage schedules, ensuring a welcoming lobby aligned with the One Medical brand.

You collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, use our tech stack (Slack, G Suite, Zoom, EMR), and perform front‑of‑house duties with care and empathy to support providers and patients.

Qualifications

Minimal 6 months experience as Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist outside training/externship.
Strong customer service skills and ability to build relationships.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with typing, internet, and multiple software systems.

Responsibilities

Use C-I-CARE framework in all patient interactions.
Provide venipuncture services across age ranges.
Perform extended scope duties (EKGs, vitals, vaccines, swabs).
Front of house duties: check-in/out, insurance verification, scheduling.
