Job summary

One Medical is seeking a Phlebotomist/Administrative Assistant at our Boston office to provide venipuncture and clinical support while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

You will handle front desk tasks, assist providers and the care team, and maintain a welcoming lobby aligned with One Medical standards. A strong focus on service, communication, and empathy is essential, with opportunities to grow within a vibrant health-tech environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of relevant clinical support experience as Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to build relationships.
• Clear written and verbal communication abilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency with multiple software systems and online tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide venipuncture and clinical support to patients.
• Assist with front desk duties and patient intake.
• Support billing inquiries and insurance verification.
• Maintain accurate specimen labeling and handling.
• Respond to patient messages and assist providers as needed.
• Open and close duties and restock supplies.
• Master the office tech stack (Slack, G-Suite, Zoom, EMR).
• Deliver a high-quality, patient-centered experience.
