Job summary

One Medical is recruiting a Float Phlebotomist/Administrative Assistant to provide venipuncture and clinical support across multiple NYC offices, including Upper West Side, Columbus Circle and Rockefeller Center locations.

You will be the first point of contact, ensure a welcoming lobby experience, and assist providers with administrative tasks while delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to build relationships.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with computers and multiple software systems.
• Experience working in collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated ability to remain confident and empathetic during specimen collection.

Responsibilities

• Deliver venipuncture and clinical support services across multiple offices.
• Manage front desk tasks including check-in/check-out and insurance verification.
• Answer patient messages and assist providers with clerical duties.
• Maintain office space, supplies, and ensure brand-aligned appearance.
• Use Room Tech and EMR to document and coordinate patient care.
• Support team with ad hoc requests and daily operations.
• Open and close the office, prepare tests, and ensure lab readiness.
