Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring building, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet company standards. The role requires travel between a portfolio of communities in the greater Charlotte region and a reliable vehicle is necessary.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, making ready units for leasing, preparing punch lists, managing supplies, and documenting work promptly and accurately. EPA certifications are required.

Qualifications

• This position performs technical and mechanical work to meet standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.
• Requires ability to diagnose defects and perform repairs per procedures and safety codes.
• Shows flexibility to travel among Greystar properties in the Charlotte region.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance.
• Manages make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and punch lists.
• Maintains inventory, orders materials, and documents tasks accurately.
• Supports upkeep of grounds and common areas and follows safety policies.
