Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support two communities in the Charlotte, NC area. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain building systems, ensure safety, and keep common areas clean and functional.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, preparing vacants for new move-ins, inspecting materials, and assisting in grounds maintenance. A valid driver’s license and EPA Type I/II certifications are required; flexible schedule and on-call rotation may apply.

Qualifications

• EPA Type I/II or Universal refrigerant recycling certification required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property may be required.
• Must meet state and local jurisdiction certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance to meet safety and code standards.
• Prepares vacants for leasing by performing pre-move-out inspections and punch lists.
• Manages materials from maintenance inventory and notifies on re-order needs.
• Documents service requests timely and accurately for tracking.
• Maintains grounds and amenities, and supports cost-control by using parts efficiently.
• May travel between properties and participate in on-call rotations.
