Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician 3 to maintain building systems, grounds, and amenities to meet safety and quality standards. The role includes handling work orders, making repairs, and supporting preventive maintenance across property operations.

In addition to a strong technical background, candidates should hold EPA certifications and a valid driver's license; the position requires flexibility for travel and a willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal required.
• State and local jurisdiction certifications as required for service technicians.
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventive maintenance on the property.
• Prepares vacant apartments for leasing by completing pre-move-in inspections and creating a punch list.
• Accesses and inventories materials from maintenance; notifies supervisor for re-ordering.
• Completes documentation for service requests to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintains grounds, pools, and common areas; performs cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by repairing parts instead of replacing components where feasible.
