Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician in Charlotte, NC. This role performs technical and mechanical work to ensure the physical aspects of the property meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality.

The position involves completing work orders, making-ready apartments, managing inventories, and maintaining grounds and common areas while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair building defects per policy and code.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant units and inspect work.
• Track inventory, ordering needs, and maintain documentation.
• Assist in grounds and common areas upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders and preventative maintenance on the property.
• Prepare vacant apartments for leasing and new move-ins.
• Access and obtain materials from maintenance department and manage inventory.
• Document and file service requests for tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; assist with cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts and using materials efficiently.
• Comply with safety policies; attend safety meetings and training.
• Inspect work performed by contractors to verify quality and compliance.
