Job summary

Banner Health is seeking an RN to join the Resource Team on the Med/Surg unit for night shifts at Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center in the Phoenix area.

The RN will float to two service areas, support clinical departments, and participate in self-scheduling for shift coverage. The role includes a night-shift differential of 18% and a weekend differential of $3/hour when applicable, plus a $3/hour float incentive.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in acute care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge needs.
• Formulate and implement a plan of care with patient/family and health team input.
• Coordinate and supervise nursing care and ensure policy/compliance with standards of care.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as needed in collaboration with the team.
• Document assessments, plans, interventions and patient responses in the chart.
