Job summary

Banner Baywood Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Medical/Surgical Float team. The role provides patient care across Medical/Surgical, PCU and Observation units with a day shift (7:00am–7:30pm) and 3 shifts per week, including weekend/holiday rotation.

Earns 18% night differential and $3/hour weekend differential, with comprehensive benefits. This position requires current RN licensure and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in acute care hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care.
• Formulate and revise plans of care with patient/family input.
• Provide direct patient care and coordinate activities of health care team.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care as needed.
• Document assessments, plans, interventions and responses in patient records.
• Participate in education, mentoring and quality improvement activities.
• Communicate effectively with all care team members and patients.
