Job summary

Banner Health in Mesa, Arizona is seeking an experienced Float Pool RN to support Pediatric and Adult units across Banner Desert Medical Center. The role emphasizes assessment, planning, and coordination of care for multi-unit pediatric and NICU patients, with opportunities to grow skills through quarterly goal planning.

The position offers 3x12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM) with weekend/holiday rotations, and incentive pay including a $3/hour weekend differential and an additional $3/hour

Qualifications

• Must possess a current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop care plans aligned with physician orders.
• Provide direct patient care and coordinate with the care team.
• Document patient data clearly and timely in the EHR.
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans and discharge needs.
• Support unit staffing, scheduling, and handoffs during shifts.
