Job summary

University of Utah in Salt Lake City is seeking a Computer Technician to configure, deploy, and maintain computers, AV, and communications tech used in staff, classroom, and student labs.

Responsibilities include end-user support, OS and application installations, workspace preparation, and asset management. On-site role with a flexible schedule (8 AM–5 PM, Mon–Fri) and occasional evenings or Saturdays may occur.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two years of related work experience required.
• Effective communications and computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level computer and classroom technology support.
• Set up and deployment of computers and equipment.
• Maintain asset management data and inventory records.
• Receive, retire, and manage equipment lifecycle.
• Coordinate hardware maintenance and vendor service.
