Job summary

University Connected Learning (UCL) is seeking a Computer Technician to configure, deploy, and maintain computers, AV, and communications technologies used in staff, classroom, and student lab environments.

Responsibilities include end user support, hardware service, installations of OS and applications, workspace preparation, and asset management. This on-site role offers a flexible schedule at the UCL facility in Research Park.

Qualifications

• An associate's degree in a computer related field or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted with two years of related work experience).
• Two years of applicable experience are required.
• Effective communications and computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide first level of computer and classroom technology support.
• Setup and deployment of computers.
• Maintaining asset management data.
• Equipment receiving, retiring, and other inventory processes.
• Equipment maintenance and arranging vendor service.
• Other duties as assigned.
