Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 seeks experienced educators to tutor K-12 students online, teaching either math or ELA across North America. Assignments are 50-minute 1-on-1 sessions with a set weekly schedule, in a flexible after-school setting.

Teach with Cosmo curriculum, build a welcoming environment, communicate professionally with families, and maintain reliability and punctuality. Independent contractor position paying $20 per class plus incentives, with a minimum commitment of 6 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 ELA or math.
• Experience with K-12 ELA or math standards.
• Fast and reliable internet connection and access to a Windows or Mac PC.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
