Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 invites experienced educators to join as a tutor for K-12 grades in math or ELA. You set a flexible weekly schedule and meet with students for 50-minute 1-on-1 lessons using the Cosmo curriculum.

This is an independent contractor position with reimbursement based on a $20 USD per class rate and potential incentives. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree, at least 3 years of K-12 teaching experience, and access to a reliable internet connection and a PC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 in ELA or math.
• Experience with K-12 ELA or math standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
