Job summary

One Medical is seeking a Float Medical Assistant (One Medical Flex Lab Services Specialist/Member Support Specialist) to support Senior Health populations. You will perform venipuncture, provide clinical and front-desk support, and help ensure a seamless in-office experience across multiple Surprise-area offices.

This full-time role requires strong patient service skills, effective communication, and ability to work with a multidisciplinary team while maintaining brand standards.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist outside of training/externship.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to deliver customer-centric solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with computer technology and multiple software systems.
• Experience with collaborative, diverse, multi-disciplinary teams; remote teams a plus.
• Completed MA program with CAAHEP/ABHES accreditation or military MA training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver venipuncture and clinical support for a senior health population across multiple offices.
• Provide front desk and lab interactions with empathetic, patient-centered care.
• Manage patient intake, same-day scheduling, follow-up, and billing knowledge.
• Perform extended scope duties (non-blood collection, EKGs, vitals, vaccines, PPD, swabs).
• Maintain specimen labeling, handling, inventory and sterilization standards.
• Answer patient messages and assist providers with clerical tasks and DOH reporting.
• Open/close duties and keep lobby and office spaces organized and on-brand.
