Job summary

One Medical in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Float Medical Assistant (Lab Services/Member Support) to deliver venipuncture and clinical support with a focus on patient experience. You will act as an ambassador for patients, ensure a welcoming lobby, and assist providers and care teams across multiple offices in the Metro area.

You will perform front desk tasks, schedule follow-ups, and handle routine clerical duties while maintaining high standards for safety and patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of relevant Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist experience or completion of an Amazon Career Choice program.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to build relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of working with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide venipuncture and clinical support across multiple offices within an MSA.
• Deliver front desk and lab support, including patient messages and lab follow-ups.
• Manage scheduling, billing inquiries, and outreach with care teams and providers.
• Maintain specimen labeling, inventory, and instrument sterilization to high standards.
• Assist with abnormal tasks such as vaccines, EKGs, vital signs, and basic procedures.
• Support team development through huddles, cross-office communication, and problem solving.
