Job summary

One Medical in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a Float Medical Assistant to provide venipuncture and clinical support across multiple offices. You will be an ambassador for patients, ensuring a smooth in-office experience and assisting with front desk duties and administrative tasks.

The role requires at least 6 months of Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist experience, strong customer service, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of relevant Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist experience outside training/externship.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to build customer relationships.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with computer technology and multiple software systems.
• Experience collaborating with diverse, multi-disciplinary teams; remote work a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide venipuncture and clinical support across multiple offices.
• Deliver patient-centered care and assist front desk tasks.
• Manage patient intake and scheduling with billing awareness.
• Maintain specimen labeling, handling, inventory, and sterilization.
• Respond to patient messages and assist providers with clerical duties.
• Perform opening/closing duties and maintain office appearance.
• Master Slack, G-suite, Zoom, Circulation, RingCentral and EMR.
