Job summary

Continental's BestDrive Commercial Tire Centers seeks a Commercial Sales Associate to lead sales for area fleets, promote tires, retreads and services, and be the main contact for customers. Responsibilities include soliciting accounts, maintaining current accounts, learning billing system, achieving profit goals, and developing product knowledge.

The role requires travel up to 75% regionally, physical requirements, and a path to benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing; ability to obtain a DOT med card.
• Previous sales experience in tire industry is a plus.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Solicit commercial truck tire accounts in designated areas.
• Sell industrial tires, new truck tires, retreads and services.
• Maintain current accounts with regular sales calls and follow up to accounts.
• Develop knowledge of products and services to provide accurate information to customers.
• Meet established sales and gross profit goals.
• Prepare weekly sales plans and complete call reports.
