Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Fleet Services Specialist II to support maintenance and scheduling for customer fleets. The role emphasizes dispatch coordination, scheduling preventative maintenance, and delivering exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has strong communication, data entry, and Excel skills, with knowledge of Cox Fleet IT systems and the trucking industry. On-site position with opportunities to grow within Cox Fleet.

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED and 3 years’ related field experience.
• Higher degree or up to 1 year experience; or 5 years in related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication at all organizational levels.
• Strong Excel and data entry skills; ability to learn Cox Fleet IT Systems.
• Knowledge of trucking industry; fleet maintenance/transportation experience helpful.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; highly organized with follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Manage follow-up maintenance transactions lifecycle from origination to custody.
• Document interactions accurately in Cox Fleet systems.
• Provide excellent customer service for internal and external calls.
• Be professional and establish positive customer rapport.
• Obtain customers approval for repairs and services to be performed.
• Proactively schedule preventative maintenance to drive repeat business.
• Coordinate with Field Operations to schedule the right technicians.
• Encourage customers to schedule repairs to create a steady pipeline.
• Develop and improve Dispatching and Service Scheduling capabilities.
• Handle additional duties and special projects as assigned.
