Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Fleet Services & Billing Specialist in Hartford to support growth and ensure accurate billing and scheduling for our mobile and center-based fleet services. You will manage the billing lifecycle, document interactions, and maintain strong customer relations across markets.

The role requires solid Excel skills, familiarity with fleet maintenance systems, and the ability to coordinate with field operations to schedule technicians.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 3 years in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to collaborate across teams.
• Strong organization, multitasking, and attention to detail.
• Experience with fleet maintenance or transportation is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist billing processes across markets and track transactions.
• Manage lifecycle of maintenance from origination to repair handoff.
• Maintain accurate records in Cox Fleet systems for each customer contact.
• Provide excellent service to internal and external customers.
• Obtain customer approval for repairs and services.
• Schedule preventative maintenance to drive repeat business.
• Coordinate with Field Operations to assign technicians.
