Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Fleet Services & Billing Specialist to support on-site billing operations and service scheduling for a diverse client base across multiple markets in the United States. You will manage the billing lifecycle, document customer contacts, and partner with Field Operations to align technicians with accounts.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED and 3 years' related field experience; alternative combos allowed up to 1 year experience or 5 years experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
• Proven track record to collaborate cross-functionally and build positive relationships.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to balance multiple tasks.
• Strong Excel and data entry skills and ability to learn FSCA IT Systems.
• Knowledge of the trucking industry is helpful.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized with strong follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Assist with billing process in all markets in area.
• Manage billing transactions lifecycle from origination until custody of repair technician.
• Document and notation in Cox Fleet systems for each customer contact.
• Provide excellent customer service for internal and external customers.
• Proactively contact customers to schedule preventative maintenance.
• Coordinate with Field Operations to schedule technicians.
• Encourage customers to schedule repairs and maintenance in advance.
• Develop and improve Dispatching and Service Scheduling capabilities.
• Additional duties and special projects as assigned.
